Equipment Acquisition
Prodige Processing, Inc. provides pick-up service of computer equipment and electronics from businesses and schools all over the Midwest. Our service is a greener solution to your computer equipment and electronic recycling needs. Unlike major recyclers who break down both working and non-working items in order to make use of their metallic components, we focus on putting as many computers, monitors, and other equipment back into reuse as possible. We help you take a step further into being part of a greener solution and reducing your carbon footprint on the environment.
Any equipment that cannot be put back into reuse is de-manufactured into its individual components and taken to a 3rd party R2 certified recycler to be recycled in accordance with state and federal regulations. You can be assured that hardware will never be dumped in our landfills but handled legally and ecologically.
We also handle hard drive and other data destruction. Our data destruction policies are in place so you can have confidence that your data will be eliminated from the equipment you entrust to us.
Flexible Solutions for Acquisition
Our experienced, professional, and courteous staff will come prepared with everything they need to handle and remove your equipment. We come directly to you.
E-Waste Bins, Pallets, and Pallet Boxes
- We can provide E-Waste bins for equipment collection points around your location(s).
- We can provide pallets and/or pallet boxes for you to pack equipment.
- Alternatively, you can acquire your own pallets and/or pallet boxes to pack equipment you're removing from service. We can provide replacements to you when we pick up the pre-packed items.
Packing
- We can pack your equipment onto our pallets/pallet boxes.
- Alternatively, you can pack your equipment onto our or your own pallets/pallet boxes.
Loading Our Truck
- We can load our truck with the pallets/pallet boxes of equipment.
- Alternatively, you can load our truck with the pallets/pallet boxes of equipment.
Pick up from You
- When you’re ready for a pickup, contact us to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Drop off to Us
- You are welcome to make an appointment to drop off your items at our Alden, IL warehouse to be recycled.
PLEASE NOTE:
As part of our Green Policy, we put as much equipment back into reuse as possible and ask that items such as Chromebooks, iPads, iPhones, etc. be removed from management and/or activation lock so that these items can continue to be useful instead of needing to be scrapped as end-of-life products in the endless cycle of wasted technology that amounts to around 8 million tons a year in the United States alone. Removing equipment from management also helps remove your responsibility for the items once they leave your hands and are in ours.
